Research backs what we see every day at our easels: skills-based creative training helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities build confidence, independence, and self-determination — and creative accomplishment is one of the things people with disabilities themselves say contributes most to a satisfying life.
Some of our artists' work has been showcased in malls, comic conventions, and children's hospitals across the country — and our artists created all the artwork for a FranklinCovey book on building good habits for people with special needs. That's not charity. That's a portfolio.
